As a Clinical Oncologist he was trained at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
He has been trained with conventional and conformal radiation therapy techniques. He has received training in Basic chemotherapy administration for a wide range of adult and pediatric tumors. Later he worked as Senior resident I and II at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.
